Serving Size:
Use 15g (2 tablespoons) tea leaves for one cup of Hong Kong Milk Tea.
Recommended Preparation:
Step 1: Add 15g (2 tablespoons) tea leaves into a tea filter, infuser or strainer.
Step 2: Add 100 degrees Celsius boiling water to tea leaves.
Step 3: Let the tea steep for 15 minutes.
Step 4: Remove tea leaves.
Step 5: Add evaporated milk (milk to tea ratio 1:3) and 5g (1 teaspoon) white sugar to tea.
Tips:
1. Adding white sugar is necessary to balance out the astringency taste.
2. The hotter the water the better to extract tea flavor and aroma.
